I adore the dynamic between Yuma and Astral haha

I want to watch Arc V so I need go through this anime first...
this is gonna be hard to watch after watching 5Ds
the MC is shit at duelling...

there's no way the anime will ever get me to believe that yuma is a bad duelist. With a 40 card deck he managed to find his only wincon (bye-bye damage into topdecking double up chance) in like 3 seconds, most of his struggles were either due to a lack of focus (which I guess could be argued to be skill issues but imo nah) or things he straight up couldn't know like numbers being unable to be destroyed by battle (gogogo golem destroying leviathan dragon would have made his play the right no). Even if you look at it comparatively he was handling his own against shark , who is supposedly dozens of times better than he is?

I'm actually okay with his shit dueling as long as there is a good character development, but his personality is kinda annoying

I don't blame him, his Gagaga/Hope deck is probably the weakest while Dark Magician has some support, HEROs going rogue are fully viable even nowadays, Synchron can work, Pendulum is just broken and Playmaker's ace Firewall Dragon was straight up banned from TCG.
